Deepavali@PulauUbin slept over at baby's place as it'll be cutting expenses
was to be awake by 8am but we drag til 9plus or 10am..
firstly, due to the rush we skipped breakfast
secondly,
changi has so limited parking lots especially for lorries!
thirdly, there's a new gorgeous hotel near the jetty(:
so, here we are all set to start our
deepavali trip to
Ubin..
cycled around for awhile before heading to ride the
bumboatseems like we
werent the only ones who were gonna be cycling
there's this foreigner&family & another foreigner..
aint it sweet for the whole family to go cycling together(=
i bought coke & potato chips from the vending machine to control hunger!
us again, bored from waiting for the
bumboat..
here comes the
bumboat that was super shaky..
it was scary
tryna carry the bike onto it!
couldnt help but tremble, thankfully i had assistance(=
bumboat ride makes me sleepy so we keep taking pictures after pictures!
oh yeah,
yipee yipee yeah! we've
finally touch down after "so long..
us at the
ubin jetty with my new "bf" & his "
gf"
PULAU UBIN! 
some extras spoiling my picture,
pfft-
we've touched base & off to our journey..
had our lunch at the
gerai, the food tasted very "old"
as in, the method of cooking of people of the older generations
once done, set off to the tracks to explore..
yan, his buddy, that we hangout with yesterday said there's improvement
idk what kinda improvements has been made to
Ubin besides chalet.
yep,
thats me super happy at the start of the journey(=
cycle, cycle, cycle.. so windy. feeling the breeze in your face is pleasant!

this part, i looked kinda pissed.
apparently, we went
thru a dirt track & i had branches scratching my face & lips
thank god, none managed to gorge out my eyeballs! ):
he apologise for going
thru the track..
hmpff.
we continued our journey to the deeper part of
Ubin to look for the
DScame upon this down slope so i allowed him to do his stunts
he basically caught so many attention & people were
chering & clapping
nearby, we found the
DS track but i
didnt let him try cos it was covered in weeds
who knows whats lurking underneath it..
ewww~
ouh,
thats the
DS behind us & the sky's getting
grayish..
its gonna rain soon cos it
alrdy started drizzling..
haiz, short trip!
we had to hurriedly cycle back to the
Ubin jetty to avoid the rain
as we inch towards our destination, there's so many "people" floating beside us
especially when we passed by the chalet area, its eerie!
unfortunately, by the time we reached the jetty, its packed with people
we managed to squeeze
thru before it turned into a heavy downpour
dont mind the picture, i was
blurring as i had too much rain water on my lips
so i decided to put my lips that way to prevent more water..
haha!
the rain kept getting heavier & it was hard to get a
bumboat..
since we had bikes along, waited for quite long time..
a pleasant uncle agreed to have us
onboard together with the foreigner&family
yet again, i had to carry my bike.. now it felt heavier than before
perhaps due to the exhaustion from the cycling & the rain water..
idk but it sure was scary, carrying the bike in the rain onto the
slippery bumboatthankfully i managed well & was safely
onboard with sugar..
was obvious we were both worn out & drenched
taking crappy pictures in the
bumboat otw back to mainland
still rainy heavily..
omg, when will it stop?
what a windy warm day turned rainy chilly day..
another gruelling session of carrying the bike off the boat..
& also up the stairs cos somebody was using the lift
hmm.. next we headed back to
changi beach..
cycled around for awhile, bought
Super Ring & sat at the bus stop..
frankly speaking, i was freezing from the downpour & still in my wet attire
headed back to the lorry for a short rest..
thats all peeps,
